I don't have the DesignerSettings node in my model as you'll see in the attached screen. :(

you probably open a model that belongs to an agnostic module you need to open the one where you install the win version of the dashboard module

It was the win module screenshot.
I accessed to my module while executing my application and the node is here.

apparently you have only installed the Xtradashboard.Win in your application project and not in any of your module as such you must open the Model of your application project. You can also install in any module module using any method you prefer (toolbox or manually). At the end the module should have a call like this
